AEON Credit Service (Asia) Co., Ltd. (the "Company") is a subsidiary of AEON Credit Service Co., Ltd. ("AEON Credit Japan") and a member of the AEON Group. AEON Credit Japan is one of the leading consumer finance services companies in Japan and is listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The Company's history in Hong Kong began in November 1987 when AEON Credit Japan set up its branch office in the territory. The Company initially provided hire purchase services particularly for household merchandise and other consumer products. In 1988, the Company introduced vehicle financing services and expanded its services to personal loans in October 1990.

When credit purchase in comparison to traditional hire purchase became more popular in the local market, the Company launched the "NCS Express Card" in August 1993. The "NCS Express Card" was renamed the "AEON Card" in August 1994.

Since credit purchase on the “AEON Card” was limited to affiliated member stores, the “AEON MasterCard” was subsequently launched in November 1994. The “AEON MasterCard” allows credit purchase at all establishments accepting MasterCard.

The Company subsequently issued credit cards under the brands of American Express® in December 2000, Visa in September 2001, JCB in July 2004 and UnionPay in March 2006. The Company is the first and only card issuer in Hong Kong that issues the 5 popular brands of credit cards in the market.

The Company is a public limited company listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

Currently, the Company issues 3 categories of credit cards, namely:

- House Cards ~ AEON Privilege American Express Credit Card, AEON Privilege Plus American Express Credit Card, AEON MasterCard Privilege, AEON MasterCard Privilege Plus, AEON Chiu Choi Card, AEON Chiu Choi MasterCard and AEON Chiu Choi UnionPay Credit Card.

- Charity Cards ~ ECC MasterCard, SPCA MasterCard, Spring Blossom MasterCard, Hong Kong Federation of Women MasterCard and Sowers Action UnionPay Credit Card.

The Company has a network of 298 ATMs, 147 are installed in Circle K Convenience Stores and 43 in MTR stations. Together with the MasterCard, Visa/PLUS, CIRRUS, American Express and UnionPay ATM networks, cardholders can access to 70,000 ATMs in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
